About Us
Our commitment to a clean energy future
PZE is an established Australian gas production business, focused on applying its proven technologies to unlock new possibilities across carbon’s circular economy through decarbonisation.
Operating in the Surat Basin Queensland, PZE’s fully owned, gas and oil field enables the company to develop and demonstrate its carbon capture & storage (CCS) and carbon farming capabilities to a growing global market.
PZE’s commitment to a clean energy future is built on strong operational, locational and geological foundations. Underpinned by the added technical capabilities of leading CCS specialists from the University of Melbourne, PZE is leveraging its extensive industry experience to foster and grow strategic partnerships across the burgeoning energy transition market.
Developing a leading decarbonisation business
Decarbonisation and the push to net zero emissions are gaining significant momentum as 2050 fast approaches. To help meet growing demand, PZE is using its extensive experience and investing in established and emerging decarbonisation technologies such as CCS, carbon farming and reforestation and mine de-gasification.
That is why PZE is at the forefront and driving the decarbonisation and energy transition industry in Australia.
Waldegrave – a capability demonstration
PZE’s near term re-development of the Surat Basin, the Waldegrave Project, will target zero emissions. Waldegrave is a vast gas resource appraisal opportunity located next to an existing Queensland gas trading infrastructure hub.
It is expected that Waldegrave’s target commercialisation options should deliver competitive returns and reduced emissions when assessed against industry leading benchmarks.
PZE decarbonisation assessment criteria will be performed across Waldegrave and the adjacent Armour Energy gas projects.
PZE expects any resultant cashflows derived from the gas developments will be reinvested back into expanding its decarbonisation business.
Key milestones
PZE is currently undertaking an appraisal and resource assessment process of its Waldegrave gas project with plans to IPO the company in the Q4 FY2022 – Q1 2023.
Vision
To be a low carbon-emitting domestic gas producer and an energy transition partner of choice for industry to decarbonise emissions intensive operations, enabling a sustainable net zero future.
Mission
To develop a low-emissions Waldegrave gas project. Identify and invest with partners in their decarbonisation projects, bringing capital, expertise, technology, commercialised through the sale of carbon credits.
