Hitting the ground running

PZE’s interests in the Waldegrave Project (late-life gas and oil field) in the Surat Basin allows us to demonstrate how our decarbonisation expertise can benefit you. Additional partnerships established with existing oil and gas providers are already in place to shape the future beyond Waldegrave.

Decarbonisation

PZE is participating in the energy transition as a decarbonisation partner, advising and investing with industry to abate emissions. Initially leveraging its expertise across CCS and Carbon Farming, PZE aims to provide emissions abatement solutions to its partners. At the Waldegrave project, PZE aims to apply its decarbonisation strategy to demonstrate how to decarbonise a natural gas production project.

CCS

CCS is a proven technology for reducing greenhouse gas emissions which is critical to achieving net-zero goals of the Paris Agreement. CCS primarily takes carbon dioxide (CO2) from industrial processes and permanently traps it in geological formations deep underground.

Carbon Farming

Through Carbon Farming projects, PZE will work with and partner with property owners to change, or introduce, specific on-farm practices designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve soil conditions to store carbon in the landscape.
